I'm a South African-born US citizen who has lived in the USA since 1997. I hold a South African National Diploma in Graphic Design which I obtained in 1989. From December 2005 to October 2006, I was Manager of Marketing Design for CubCrafters in Yakima, WA. For eight years prior to that I designed publications for EAA. I am [obviously] an avid aviation enthusiast with a pilot's license; I skydive; I am a non-smoker; I have a few tattoos; and I try to ride my mountain bike as much as possible.

My fee structure is based on the value of a project and unlike most designers I charge per project and not per hour. Here's a simple rundown of some of my prices:

  • Two-page ad: $750
  • Full-page ad: $500
  • Half-page ad: $250
  • Quarter-page ad and smaller: $150
  • Logo design: $350
  • Poster design: $250
  • T-shirt design: $250
  • Web banner/banner ad design: $150
  • Tri-fold & bi-fold brochure on 8.5" x 11" paper: $500
  • 5.5" x 8.5" saddle-stitched brochure or booklet: $150 per page
  • 8.5" x 11" saddle-stitched brochure or booklet: $250 per page
  • 8.5" x 11" flyer, sell sheets, slick sheets, inserts: $250
    • All prices include two revisions. More than two revisions will incur a fee of $50 per revision. Other projects and prices available by request.
