I'm a South African-born US citizen who has lived in the USA for thirteen years. I hold a South African National Diploma in Graphic Design which I obtained in 1989. Apart from a two-year stint in the health & fitness industry and a one-year “sabbatical,” I’ve been doing graphic design my whole working career. From December 2005 to October 2006, I was Manager of Marketing Design for CubCrafters, a small airplane manufacturer in Yakima, WA. For eight years prior to that I designed publications for the Experimental Aircraft Association, a non-profit organization promoting recreational aviation internationally. I was the art director, production manager, and de facto prepress department, using the latest totally online PDF workflow.

I started my design career using airbrushes, Letraset and process cameras, and have gone through all the technological updates, to the point where I’m currently proficient in the Mac OS X environment, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat). I’m [obviously] an avid aviation enthusiast with a pilot's license; I skydive; I’m a non-smoker; I have a few tattoos; and I try to ride my mountain bike as much as possible.

So, if you like what you've seen on the preceding pages and you have a design need you think I can fill, let’s get in touch!

PS. I am not a web designer or programmer. I have done the art directing for a few websites but at the present I'm still on the web design learning curve.
